Recently, the Incentive Research Foundation (IRF) attended the Motivation Show in Chicago. Here, the group previewed a new study determining the size incentive and loyalty gift card market in the United States. Recently, two divisions within Verizon spoke to HR Management Magazine about their use of innovation within their employee rewards and recognition program. This is no easy task, considering they manage over 50,000 employees across multiple categories. One thing is certain – it’s not a one-size-fits-all strategy. Their use of point-based programs offers everything from gift cards, group travel, electronics and even specialty items like concert tickets. St. Louis – April 30, 2012 – A new study by the Incentive Gift Card Council (IGCC) and the Incentive Research Foundation (IRF) shows that prepaid gift cards are one of the most popular ways to motivate and reward employees. This is due, primarily, to the control and personalization they present.
